Red Terror Martyr’s Memorial Museum

Red Terror Martyr’s Memorial Museum, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia honours the vicitims of the 1977-1978 killing. It was established in 2010, an initiative of the surviving family and friends of the victims. On their website they state:

‘Our objective is to build a bridge of communication and information that will help heal and bring greater understanding of the occurrences of that time, so that such an egregious atrocity and crime against humanity will never, ever be repeated again in our beloved country Ethiopia or on our planet for that matter.’

The museum’s motto is ‘Never Ever Again’.
